It’s Goodwood Festival of Speed week! That means all manner of awesome machines are being flung up Lord March’s glorious driveway. The Goodwood YouTube channel does a great job churning out both live content and recaps. So, to help you roll into the weekend on the right note, I’m sharing their video of the best runs from Thursday.
Some thoughts on those runs…
- The T.50S sounds truly wild, and Dario is, of course, a beast behind the wheel of anything.
- I actually really like how the Ferrari 12Cilindri looks. The nose reminds me of the Daytona, and that can’t be a bad thing.
- V8 Supercars at Goodwood! Why can’t NASCAR just convert to this? The recent race in Chicago proves it should.
- Volvo. Drift. Wagon. How can you not love this thing? We need a drift series/race series that’s nothing but wagons.
- Pre-war stuff will always be mind-blowing, especially when it’s being driven in anger.
- I hope to someday own a vehicle that has as many lights as the Renault R5 Turbo WRC car.
- That Hyundai Ioniq 6N looks awesome… even if the fake news remains pretty dumb.
- Dakar vehicles at Goodwood are almost always my favorite things to go up the hill. This Toyota race truck being no exception here.
- The ground clearance on the WRC GR Yaris is so cool to see.
